Warehouse Operator/ Delivery Driver

Our client is seeking a reliable, dedicated Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver to join their team in delivering authentic Italian products. **You must be Fluent in Italian**. You will play a vital role in the daily operations such as managing inventory, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining warehouse integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and organise incoming shipments of Italian food products.

Maintain a clean, organised warehouse, adhering to food safety standards.

Safely operate forklift to move and stack pallets.

Prepare accurate customer orders for delivery.

Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies promptly.

Delivery Driver

Safely operate delivery vehicles for timely product transportation.

Plan efficient delivery routes.

Load and unload products securely.

Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.

Maintain accurate delivery records and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

College or equivalent.

Valid clean driver's license.

Warehouse and delivery driving experience, preferably in the food industry.

Forklift certification and experience.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages.

You will be able to lift objects/boxes, pick and pack products in a timely manner and have a clean Full UK Driving Licence. You will have an in-date Forklift Licence.
